"Alert Little Eyes" is an engaging first series for preschoolers, including those with visual impairments and ADHD. Featuring gentle pacing, interactive narration, and lovable characters: Ladybug Dottie and Snail Spinner, the series introduces children safely to the world of animated storytelling. Developed under visual impairment specialist’s guidance and demonstrated positive effects in scientific studies.

"Alert Little Eyes" is an educational and adventure-filled animated series created with the youngest audience in mind, including those with special needs. The series aims to provide children with a safe introduction to the digital world of images, sounds, and words. 

The 7-minute episodes feature Ladybug Dottie and Snail Spinner as the main characters. This dynamic duo embarks on fun adventures, solves puzzles together, and overcomes challenges along the way. 

The animation entertains while subtly educating its youngest viewers."Alert Little Eyes" is the perfect choice for a child's entertainment-first content. 

Features and Structure of the Episode: 

1. Engaging Story with Fun Dialogues – The main characters, Ladybug Dottie and Snail Spinner, explore the world around them. 
2. Visual Task as a Climax – A visual exercise at the end of each episode, related to the episode's content, that helps young viewers practice their visual skills and attention span. 
3. End-of-Episode Activity – Each episode concludes with an invitation from the narrator to engage in a physical or creative activity, supporting the development of perceptual abilities. 

 

Key Aspects of the Project: 

  • Educators and therapists have positively assessed the graphic, cognitive, and therapeutic values. 
  • The Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin conducted scientific research on the reception of the animation. The report confirmed that the series is suitable for children with visual impairments and developmental deficits. 
  • The series was created under the supervision of a specialist in visual impairment education (tyflopedagogy).
